Recent Facility Expansion & Future Growth Plans
Fortune has been executing on a vision of innovation and efficiency for almost 5 years in Silicon Valley. We plan to continue to lead the evolution of the industry.
Fortune’s San Jose facility is located near data centers from NTT, Equinix, and Verizon on a 9.26 acre campus. Fortune is carrier-neutral, with current connectivity from Level 3, AboveNet, and AT&T and other major carriers nearby. The 140,000 campus consists of 3 buildings, which when fully developed will support 16 MW of critical IT load.
The 8 MW initial build out (Phase 1) was completed in early 2009 and fully leased within months of commissioning. The recently completed and fully commissioned Phase 1A provides an additional 1.4 MW of critical IT load. Click here for leasing inquiries»
Given the combined effect on occupancy cost of Fortune’s Direct Access to power purchasing and an industry leading PUE, Fortune San Jose is among the lowest cost wholesale data centers in Silicon Valley.
Phase 2 will add an expected 5-7 MW of critical load. Building on the experience of Phase 1 and Phase 1A, Fortune’s expansion capacity will enjoy the same Direct Access power purchasing as well as an increased level of efficiency.
